3 Easy Ways to Obtain International SIP Trunking
1. Bandwidth: Your company may supply your own bandwidth at your country’s location, or request ECTtelecom to assist you in obtaining bandwidth. Bandwidth could include T1, E1, DS3, OCX or Ethernet where available.
2. IP Address: Provide ECTtelecom with your IP Address in your Country.
3. United States DID Number: ECTtelecom can provide you with a DID Number in a city of your choice in the United States. Or we can provide you with a package of over 3,000 DID Numbers in USA cities.
How Does International SIP Trunking Work? Once your company has obtained sufficient Bandwidth, IP Address and a United States DID Number, your company can place SIP Trunking Long Distance calls using USA Rates even though your calls may be placed from a foreign country using your IP Address. USA Rates include Interstate Outbound, Inbound and USA Rates to foreign countries.
Example: A call center in Delhi, India places Outbound calls to various cities in the USA, using a USA DID Number and the cost per minute rate is based upon USA Interstate Outbound rates. If the Delhi call center receives Inbound (Toll Free) calls from the USA, the rates are based upon USA Interstate Inbound (Toll Free) rates. If the Delhi call center places an International Outbound call to a country other than the USA, the rates are based upon USA International rates.
